Anclote | Amp Bronze Mirror Lenses

This is a review for the Anclote in Sand frame color with FusePRO Green Mirror polarized lenses (amber color polarization). I've only had them for about a week so far, so this review is based only on my time using them. I use them daily for fly fishing on shallow sandy flats or in the surf for striped bass, and for driving/work (I'm a marine geologist, so spend a decent amount of time on the water or along the coast). These replaced a pair of 5-year old Costa Tuna Alleys with 580g lenses, so those will be my comparison glasses. The Anclotes aren't quite up to snuff in terms of clarity and crispness of the polarization - but I didn't expect them to be at a couple hundred dollars less. That said, I am quite pleased with the clarity of the lens and the polarization provided by the FusePRO amber lenses for my purposes. Clarity is good, and the polarization works quite well in cutting glare and allowing enhanced visibility in the water for sighting fish. The frames are lightweight and fit quite well - probably a bit better than the Tuna Alleys. The hinge spring design helps keep the fit of the frames good without being too tight, regardless of wearing the glasses by themselves or with a hat. I have yet to test the durability of the lenses to scratches (and hope to avoid that), or how they will hold up in salt water over the longer term. I do rinse them with fresh water daily after use, so hopefully that will help. So far, so good. Will update as needed.

Got these glasses and they were solid quality for the price point. Pretty darn good and the lenses were fire. Test ran them on a sunny day at a Malibu beach last week and it was hot hot hot. The lenses gave a great vibe and color to the beach and ocean. They have slipped into my top 2 shade rotation.

Bought these Fuse prescription sunglasses as my Costa’s sledge down my nose and just don’t fit right anymore. My Fuse Anclote prescription sunglasses fit my face perfectly and the lenses are perfect. Yet another great purchase from Fuse!!

I dropped my glasses and scratched one of the lenses. It really pi££ed me off, as they were my favourite. Then I remembered that they may have cover under the warranty I had when I bought them. A few emails to a very helpful Kayla and my placement were on their way to my home in the UK.
