Removing old lenses
It's nice to have lenses that aren't cracked and to be able to use my RayBan frames again. The + lenses are nice and removal of the old and installation of the new wasn't too difficult. The only downside if there is one is that the new lenses don't say Ray Ban, which takes a little bit of the status of the glasses away, but the functionality has been restored.
I bought a $250 pair of carbon Ray Ban Cockpit glasses about 5 years ago. They were my favorite glasses. While on vacation, the screw holding the lens in fell out, so the lens fell to the concrete and cracked. To replace the lenses would have cost more than half of the glasses and could not find any other replacements . So, I stuck them in a drawer and forgot about them. Last month, I decided I wanted another pair of aviator style glasses but didn’t want to pay the $200 for the pair I liked. I found my old pair in the drawer and decided to search for lenses. Fuse lenses popped up and they had the lenses for my old cockpits. All the reviews seemed very positive. I figured $29 for polarized glasses, why not? If they don’t work, I didn’t lose much. I received them and they looked great. I stopped by my local eye glass shop and they put them in and replaced the screw all for free. The lenses fit perfectly. Other than missing Ray Ban in the top corner, my glasses look brand new. I will definitely use Fuse again if I need new lenses on any of my glasses. Definitely exceeded my expectations.
First time ordering and was very impressed with the quality of the lenses (actually thought it was better than OEM)
