Winter 2020-2021 Sunglasses Trends

Every year there’s new trends and styles that pop up seemingly out of the blue. While some of the trends are recurring or a blast from the past, it can be hard to keep up with them every year. To help with the trouble of staying up to date, we’ve compiled a list of a few trends to make sure you’re always in style this season.

Trend 1: Oversized, Square Sunglasses

A recent trend at the beginning of this year were smaller, thin-brimmed shades. To end this year off, however, the oversized square glasses are making waves. Not only are these glasses trendy and fashionable, but they’re actually better for your eyes and your skin. The microscopic sunglasses trend was cute, but there was never enough coverage to protect your eyes or the skin surrounding your eyes from the harmful UV rays coming from the sun. With your oversized shades, you’ll be on trend and safe from the sun.

Trend 2: Aviators

Throwing it all the way back to the 1930s when these shades were born, we have aviators. It’s said that these shades are making a comeback, but did they ever really go away? Aviators have always been timeless, trendy, and look good on just about anyone.

Trend 3: Translucent-Colored Lenses

Paying homage to the 1990s and early 2000s, translucent-colored and rimless frames are making a comeback. These shades scream throwback becoming popularized by celebrities like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. These shades may not be everyone’s go-to, but for this season they are trending and will likely be seen everywhere.

Trend 4: Blue Light Glasses

For those who have 20/20 vision but still like to rock the glasses look every once in a while, blue light glasses are perfect. Not only are they a nice accessory to add onto an outfit, but they actually have benefits to your eyes. They can block harmful blue light that comes from devices such as phones, tablets, and TVs which can cause serious eye strain and headaches. Luckily, here at Fuse, we have blue light glasses to suit your style and protection needs.

Trend 5: Fuse Sunglasses

Okay, so maybe Fuse hasn’t hit the runways or popped up in fashion magazines, but there is no doubt that our sunglasses are trendy. We think the biggest trend is finding glasses that not only make you feel comfortable but also ones that will be in style for a long time. With classic shapes and sizes, Fuse has you covered to be on trend no matter the season or year. Our 3 Rooker, Anna Maria, and Lido frames are always in style and will suit any face shape. You will always be on trend when you’re rocking a pair of Fuse shades.

Summary

While keeping up with the trends can be complicated because it feels like they’re always changing, the lesson to be learned is that you can never go wrong with classic styles and throwback pieces. It always feels like there’s something new around the corner, however, most of the trends tend to be reminiscent of past decades and their trends. It can be tough keeping up with what the style is, but here at Fuse, we have your back to inform you of what is trending and new.
