I didn’t know what to expect but the old lenses came out just as they explained and the new ones went in. Because my frames were old and bent a little it took a little work to get one of them in, but once it was lined up it popped right in. Very happy that I have my favorite glasses back at a reasonable price

Mom had cateract surgery these replaced super thick high index lenses. Used a heat gun, a blow dryer might work, and CAREFULLY WARM to expand the frames to get professionally installed Rx lenses removed.

I have a pair of my mom’s sunglasses that had prescription lens. I had to soak the glasses in hot water on and off for about 30 second (I had to do this multiple times). The frames are thick and has to soften ever so slightly. Finally I took a hammer & tapped on the old lens a few times & put it back in the hot water bowl. It finally came out. Took about 30 minutes. Next I had to put the lens in. You have to put them back in the hot water and then take them out and push he lens in at the nose of the glasses first. You know you got them in right when you hear a snap. I finally did it for both lens after 15 minutes of warming the frames and manipulating the lens in by pushing them into place. I love my new sunglasses & feel like I got a new lease on my mom’s Raybans.
